ABOUT

AN AUGMENTED REALITY THEATRE EXPERIENCE

(BUT IT’S LOTS OF FUN WITHOUT THE APP TOO!)

Welcome to the Dragons of Drummohr

…and welcome back to those who enjoyed our first two shows, DragonQuest 2015 and Dragon Matrix 2016.

2017 sees the event take some brilliant new twists and turns, and we can’t wait to welcome you to the final chapter in our “Dragon” adventure series.

Last year DragonMatrix was a huge success attracting over 5000 people. Dragon Matrix was Scotland biggest Augmented reality performance and nominated for the Scottish Thistle Awards, featured on Blue Peter and widely talked about in news stories and gaming blogs.

This year Dragons have taken over Drummohr House and grounds near Musselburgh and alongside them a host of interactive augmented reality creatures have taken up residence.

Come and join the Dragon Protection League and get completely immersed in a performance that combines technology and theatre to create a brand new story. Download the Dragon Matrix App and use it to find and photograph the creatures as well as hear the event that led up to a Grade 7 red dragon arriving at Drummohr.

Dragons of Drummohr is an amazing Augmented Reality performance that will lead you to a parallel universe where you will be tasked with assisting the Dragon Protection league to find all the magical creatures living in the grounds. Make sure you avoid the Trolls, the nest of spiders, and don’t talk to the Troll Hunter.

There is a fairy settlement, a grooving disco-bobulator, a mesmerising Dragimation. It’s going to be a visually packed event! Book a ticket and get to the Preston Grange Museum visitors centre. Get there by 26 bus or drive and park to catch a Dragon Bus to the event.

Tickets on sale from 31st July though Brown Paper tickets.

The DragonMatrix app will be downloadable from mid September 2017.
